COSTCO WHOLESALE CLUB: Costco is again offering a special membership to our members. They are inviting you to a reception at our union hall on Thursday, Nov. 18th, Friday, Nov. 19th, Monday, Nov. 22nd or Tuesday, Nov. 23rd, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., where they will have products to sample, answer questions and process memberships.

CAPE SHOE SALES COMES TO OHAP: American made work boots and shoes made by members of UAW Local 1930 in Missouri, will be in the plant on November 19th from 6:30 a.m. till 9:00 p.m. They will be located in the main isle near the main cafeteria in the vehicle display area. Payroll deduction, VISA and Mastercard, Debit/Credit cards and personal checks will be accepted.

FOOD COLLECTED AT AVON LAKE/AMHERST FOOTBALL GAME: Thanks to all who participated. The food was distributed to the Elyria Neighborhood Center, Catholic Charities - Lorain, LEAP/CIL - Lorain and Avon Lake, and the Good Shepherd Baptist Church - Amherst. Also, the money collected at the plant gates for the food drive totaled $2,232.00. Again, thanks to all who contributed.

DECEMBER ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES: Employees with unused vacation or personal time hours, pay ending 11/28/04 will be paid on Friday December 3, 2004.

HOLIDAY CONVERSION: Eligible hourly employees who work and wish to convert the Thanksgiving holidays for November 25th through November 26, 2004, must do so before midnight Friday, November 26, 2004.

SHIFT PREFERENCE SIGN UP: Sigh up for shift preference is scheduled for the week of December 6th through midnight December 10th, in Human Resources.

SUPPLEMENTAL OPT OFF POOL FOR NON-APPENDIX F SKILLED TRADES is December 1st through December 31, 2004.

CHRISTMAS BONUS: The bonus will be available on Friday, December 3rd, to eligible workers. BONUSES BASED ON THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE: Pay periods worked: 26 weeks or more - $600 Bonus; 20 through 25 weeks worked - $450 Bonus; 13 through 19 weeks worked - $300 Bonus. The eligibility year is November 18, 2003 through November 16, 2004. Union dues will be deducted. (Members who are working will receive their bonus check through the normal distribution.)

CLOTHE-A-CHILD COLLECTION: Our annual collection will be held Friday, December 10th, in the plant. Local 2000/Ohio Assembly, throughout our history, have been the largest contributors to the Clothe-A-Child. Please remember to bring a cash donation.

VETERANS' COMMITTEE COLLECTION: Thank you to all who donated to the Veterans' Committee gate collection for the homeless veterans. A total of $3,000.00 was collected
