If you have a son or daughter or ex-spouse who is no longer eligible to be covered, it is YOUR responsibility to call the N.E.S.C. and have them remove that person or persons. LOCAL 2000 RETIREES’ PICNIC: The Retirees’ picnic will be held at Weiss Field in Avon Lake on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, beginning at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. Beverages will be provided and bingo games will be played after lunch. There is a $10.00 non-refundable fee per person and no reservations will be taken for the picnic after July 20th, 2006. The picnic is limited to retirees and one guest. Reservation forms are available at the union hall and at Local 2000’s website (www.uawlocal2000.org).

UPCOMING GATE COLLECTIONS: The Susan B. Coleman collection will be taken up on June 16th, 2006 and the Lucy Idol collection will be taken up on June 23rd, 2006.

ANNUAL LOCAL 2000 PICNIC: Will be at Geauga Lake this year. Discounted tickets will be on sale at the plant in the lobby of the administration building on Friday, July 28th and Monday, July 31st. Further details to follow.
