NEXT PAID HOLIDAY: Monday, May 31st, Memorial Day, is our next paid holiday. You must work the day after the holiday, Tuesday, June 1st, to receive holiday pay, or have an excused absence for that day, but MUST work your next scheduled day.

UNIT 1, SHIFT PREFERENCE SIGN UP: June 7, 2004 until midnight June 11, 2004.

C.O.L.A. RAISE: The 2003 UAW-Ford Collective Bargaining Agreement provides that two dollars ($2.00) of the two dollars and five cents ($2.05) cost-of living adjustment shall be folded into the base rate, leaving five cents (5¢) COLA in the "float." You will be receiving a cost of living raise of twenty-seven (27¢) effective Monday, June 7, 2004. Therefore, the total cost-of-living received in your paycheck will be thirty-seven cents (37¢) per hour.
