INFORMATION BULLETIN - May 23, 2006

NEXT PAID HOLIDAY: Our next paid holiday is Memorial Day, Monday May 29th, 2006. You must work the day after the holiday (Tuesday May 30th) to receive holiday pay. If you have an excused absence for that day, you MUST work your next scheduled day.

HOLIDAY CONVERSION FOR MEMORIAL DAY: The book will be open in the Human Resources Department May 29th, 2006 until midnight on June 2nd, 2006 for all eligible hourly employees who work and wish to convert the holiday to an additional day of excused absence.

JUNE ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES: Unused vacation and personal time will be paid on June 2nd, 2006.

SHIFT PREFERENCE: Sign up in the Human Resources Department June 5th through June 9th, 2006.

SUPPLEMENTAL OPT OFF POOL: Sign up in Human Resources during the month of June (June 1st through June 30th, 2006) if you have the qualifications.

TENTATIVE SATURDAYS: There are two tentative voluntary Saturdays scheduled for both shifts at this time. They are June 3rd and June 17th, 2006. At the present time we are 1,600 units behind build schedule.

TENTATIVE 3RD QUARTER SCHEDULE (JULY THROUGH SEPTEMBER): During the 3rd quarter period, we are tentatively scheduled to work 8 hours and no Saturdays.

ORDER BANK: As of May 23rd, 2006, the Econoline Order Bank is 24,598.

TFT’S RETURN: Temporary full-time employees will start working at the plant on June 2nd, 2006.

UAW LOCAL 2000 ANNUAL PICNIC: This year’s annual picnic is scheduled for Sunday August 13th at Geauga Lake. Be sure to set this date aside for a fun filled day with family and friends. Further information will be in our next bulletin.

LORAIN COUNTY ORGANIZED LABOR’S 12th ANNUAL LABOR DAY CELEBRATION IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd. This year’s event is already being planned. Volunteers are needed for setting up the day before the event, for working the food line the day of the event and for cleaning up the day after the event. If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please call ERC’s Amy Jaynes-Brown at extension 1244 or Tom May at extension 1341. The first 100 volunteers will receive a commemorative Labor Day Celebration tee shirt.

34th CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION: Our elected delegates and alternate will be attending the Constitutional Convention June 12th through June 16th, 2006. They are: Tim Donovan, Nick Gallogly, Jerry Donovan, Fred Pena lll and Tim Rowe (Alternate). 1st Vice-President Jerome Williams will be replacing me (Tim Donovan) during that week and can be reached at the local hall at 934-3151, extension 22 or at plant pager number 059. Chairman Nick Gallogly will post replacements prior to the conference.

UNION MEETING: The next scheduled union meeting is Sunday June 11th, 2006 at Local 2000 Membership Hall, 3151 Abbe Road, Sheffield Village at 2:30 PM.
