RUN-OFF ELECTION REMINDER: The Run-Off Election for the position of Sergeant-At-Arms will be held on Thursday May 12th, 2005 from 12:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. (24 hours) in the hourly parking lot at the Ohio Assembly Plant, Abbe Road, Avon Lake, Ohio.

Swearing in of Officers will be held at the June 12th Membership Meeting.

ECONOLINE is scheduled for the following Saturdays (both shifts, eight hours): This Saturday May 14th, 2005 and Saturday June 4th, 2005.

MARINER DATES: The 2006 Mariner Job One is May 9th, 2005. The last build date has been moved up to August 12th, 2005 with a tentative schedule of 10 hours starting May 31st through the end of the build.

NEXT PAID HOLIDAY: Memorial Day, Monday May 30th, 2005. You must work the day after the holiday, (Tuesday May 31st) to receive holiday pay. If you have an excused absence for that day, you MUST work your next scheduled day.

HOLIDAY CONVERSION FOR MEMORIAL DAY: The book will be open in the Human Resources Department May 30th, 2005 to June 3rd, 2005 for all eligible hourly employees who work and wish to convert the holiday to an additional day of excused absence.

SHIFT PREFERENCE: Sign up in the Human Resources Department June 6th through June 10th, 2005.

SUPPLEMENTAL OPT OFF POOL: Sign up in Human Resources the month of June (June 1st through June 30th, 2005), if you have the qualifications.

JULY 4TH CONVERSION: Sign up in Human Resources the week of June 6th through June 10th (midnight).

VACATION SHUTDOWN: Weeks of July 4th and July 11th, 2005
