ELECTION RESULTS: The Constitutional Convention Delegates are Tim Donovan, Nick Gallogly, Jerry Donovan and Fred Pena III. The alternate Constitutional Convention Delegate is Tim Rowe. Michael Donovan was elected Bargaining Committeeperson and Robert Gonzalez Sr. and Herb Bennett Jr. were elected District Committeepersons. Congratulations to all who were elected. Thank you to all who took the time to vote on behalf of all candidates. Voter turnout was 60%.

ELECTION DAY: Tomorrow (Tuesday May 2nd) is Election Day. Please take the time out of your busy day to vote. There are many local, county and state issues and offices on the ballot in this Primary Election.

NEXT PAID HOLIDAY: Our next paid holiday is Memorial Day, Monday May 29th, 2006. You must work the day after the holiday, (Tuesday May 30th) to receive holiday pay. If you have an excused absence for that day, you MUST work your next scheduled day.

TENTATIVE SATURDAYS: There are no tentative Saturdays scheduled at this time.

ORDER BANK: As of May 1st, 2006, the Econoline Order Bank is 24,399.

BLOOD DRIVE: The American Red Cross will be at the Ohio Assembly Plant on Tuesday May 2nd, 2006 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM conducting a blood drive. The blood drive will be in the Thunderbird Conference Room next to Human Resources in the Administration Building.

MOTORCYCLE PARKING: A new motorcycle parking lot on the Miller Road side of the plant will open on Tuesday May 2nd, 2006. The lot is located where the new truck entrance was installed. Motorcycle parking signs are posted.

AFL-CIO TRADE SHOW: The AFL-CIO Trade Show will be held at the I-X Center in Cleveland this year on May 5th through May 7th, 2006. The trade show features 100% union-made, American-made products, services and jobs. It also features live demonstrations, free samples, family fun and one million dollars in free prizes. Admission is free. Event parking at the I-X Center is $7.00. The hours are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday.

PRESIDENT’S REPLACEMENT: 1st Vice President Jerome Williams will replace Tim Donovan on Thursday May 4th and Friday May 5th, 2006. Tim will be on personal business during that time.
