PROFIT SHARING: The announced average profit sharing is estimated to be $195.00. The tentative date for the profit sharing factor is February 26, 2004. Profit sharing day is Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Election period for TESPHE or Ford Money Market ends this Thursday, February 20th, at 4:00 p.m.

AVON LAKE RECREATION CENTER: The city of Avon Lake has had their first public meeting to discuss the proposed $23 million dollar recreation center. At this time, plans on how to pay for the center are uncertain. One proposal is to have non residents who work in Avon Lake pay an additional .25% (1/4 per cent) income tax for 25 years. Every member of Local 2000 who attended this meeting was recognized by the Mayor and given a chance to speak on this proposal. Whether you are opposed or in favor of this proposal, you should let your voice be heard. The time and date of the next public meeting will be posted in the plant.

FSLC MEETING: Dale Warren, John Stafford, ESSP Reps Unit 1 and Unit 2 respectively and I will be attending a Family Service and Learning Center (FSCL) meeting in Detroit, MI., Monday February 23rd through Wednesday February 25th 2004. OPTIONAL LIFE INSURANCE: Open enrollment is being held through March 1, 2004, for the Employee and Dependent Optional Life Insurance Plan.
