THE SCHEDULED TENTATIVE DOWN

IMPORTANT CHANGES IN THE WAY
YOU USE ODJFS *PHONE SYSTEM* FOR FILING UNEMPLOYMENT: The
ODJFS has designated specific days for making application or
filing claims according to the first letter of your last name.
Please use the following schedule below if you communicate
your applications/claims via telephone: Last names that
begin with the letters A – I call on Mondays, letters J – L call
on Tuesdays, letters M – S call on Wednesdays and letters T – Z
call on Thursdays. Fridays are designated “free days” for those
who failed to call on their designated days. The ODJFS
will no longer have Saturday calling hours. Although the
ODJFS cannot deny you services regardless of what day you call,
I (Tim Donovan) encourage the membership to follow the schedule
above. This change should make the ODJFS’s phone system run
smoother.
