NIGHT SHIFT OVERTIME: As reported by Chairman Nick Gallogly at the membership meeting this past Sunday, the 3rd shift will be working overtime this week to make up for the loss of production this past Saturday due to a parts shortage. E-Mails and rumors throughout the plant about working this Saturday are in error. Again, there is NO production scheduled for this Saturday.

The Run-Off Election for the position of Skilled Trades Chairman/Committeeman is between Pete Filiaggi and Rick Fry. We wish the best of luck to both candidates.

ENTERPRISE WIDE BUYOUT PACKAGES (EWBll): Representatives from the UAW National Ford Department and Ford Motor Company will be here on Thursday, February 14th to present information regarding the Special Incentive Packages. Please note: You must attend the information meeting scheduled for your shift (see schedule below). Meetings will start promptly according to schedule. Please be on time for your meeting. The first portion of the meetings will be dedicated to important information that should be heard by all attending.

PLEASE NOTE: THE WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN UP FOR (EWBll) OPENS FEBRUARY 19th AND CLOSES ON MARCH 18th.

MEETING TIMES:    

1st shift employees 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
2nd shift employees 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
3rd shift employees 1:45 PM – 3:45 PM

Employees must attend on their own time. Spouses/significant others are encouraged to attend.

Next Dependent Audit (H1): The next audit (H1) will be mailed 03/01/2008. It is a company wide audit of all employees with last names from AA through HA.

PLEASE NOTE: The Company will mail notifications to the last known address that you reported to the Human Resources Department at our plant. To avoid not receiving your audit, and to also avoid your dependants from being removed from your insurance plan, PLEASE make sure your address and phone number are current.

  • Documentation must be received by 05/01/2008, or the Company will remove the dependent(s).
     

  • If a principally supported dependent (grandchild) is removed due to an audit, the employee must have legal guardianship of the grandchild to reinstate them.
     

  • Employees should start to gather their 2007 Federal Income Tax returns (1040) and proof of residency (letter from the school or driver's license) for their dependents.
